Tax quick check
Pick your broker's export and see each year's Hungarian tax on shares, dividends and interest. Free, no sign-up.
Your file never leaves this device. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Try it: once the page has loaded, switch off Wi-Fi and calculate.
Step 1 Required
The file picker is locked until you tick the box above.Done, you can choose your file now.
Step 2
Use your full history (you can pick several years at once): FIFO needs the old buys too. How to export: Trading 212 and Revolut.
What the quick check assumes
- Official daily MNB rates and the FIFO method, with the same tax engine as the desktop app.
- It does not know your salary, so only investment income fills the SZOCHO cap. If your salary is near the cap, the real SZOCHO can be lower.
- No tax equalisation is deducted, and a dividend's source country is taken from its ISIN.
- Dividends on securities listed on a European (EEA) exchange carry no SZOCHO (Szocho Act s. 5), so SZOCHO can be less than 13% of dividends plus interest. It is decided from the ISIN, and you can change it in the desktop app.
Filing your return?
The desktop app works out the same figures and adds what you need to file: the NAV XML for your return, a detailed PDF and CSV statement of every trade, the SZOCHO cap with your salary, tax equalisation, Trading 212 automatic download and encrypted storage.
